God's Here

Hey guys! What joys I woke up to last night...clear margins, benign lymph nodes, a news story and many loved ones! Dr. Hunt and team were so wonderful! Felicia and Vickie took amazing care of me post-op and Howard and Pearla strolled from the halls of hope to the road of freedom. What an experience! God definitely showed up and completely outdid Himself! Prayer at work here. Thanks to you all for hurdling this first challenge so gracefully with me.

God,
What a stack of blessing you have piled up
for those who worship you,
Ready and waiting for all who run to you
to escape an unkind world.
You hide them safely away
from the opposition.
As you slam the door on those oily, mocking faces...
Love God, all you saints;
God takes care of all who stay close to him...
Be brave. Be strong. Don't give up.
Expect God to get here soon.
Psalm 31:19-20 & 23-24

Thanks for coming soon, Precious Lord, thank you.

Lisa,

You are such an inspiration to all with your faith and your positive attitude. I can't even imagine all the stress this past week with all of the opposition from every side! I just want to say that you were so wise in sticking with MD--it is really important that you are somewhere they know how to treat sarcoma. My mom had that as well and it is rare and requires expertise! Thank you for your updates. We are all proud of you and proud of Jesus shining through you.

I thought sarcomas didn't spread by lymph nodes anyway, but by blood directly.

Fang,
The type of cancer I have may not be a straight sarcoma but a mix of carcinoma too. The carcinoma mix makes it possible to spread to the lymphnodes. Thankfully, it doesn't look like mine has!

Thanks for the details on everything; I had been wondering, also.
Joining you in celebrating the very good surgical results--clean lymph nodes and clear margins are AMAZING GIFTS. Praise God, that even through the ridiculous delays you've been put through, it doesn't seem to have invaded your lymph nodes.
Will keep praying about the insurance situation. I pray they'll end up covering this and any other treatment at at least 60%.
Happy healing and family-loving this week.
