Down or UpDate...I'm not sure

I know you've all been checking for news. I have news. I have also been left waiting for other news once again too.

I am still waiting on a call from Dr. Hunt to explain the PET scan results and see what other tests/scans need to be ordered so I can start my insurance appeal yet again. Please pray specifically for communication within her office as it seems they thought the nurse practitioner went over the results with me yesterday. She did tell me the doctor would probably order some other tests so pray we can request those tomorrow so we can get them done next week while we are in Houston.

I have been on the phone with my insurance carrier, Scott & White Health Plan for five of the last six hours trying to persuade them as to why I must be operated on by a specialist for a better chance of survival. We will need you tomorrow to help persuade them to give me the care I deserve. (This is also the care you deserve if, heaven forbid, you would ever find yourself in a similar place.) Please stay tuned for that.

Scott & White Health Plan has once again approved out of contract, out of network coverage which is 50%. MD Anderson requires insurance to pay 60%. This is the political, red tape, beastish way to say, "Yes, you can go where you want...But we won't really let you." I am still very thankful that I live in a country where I have the freedom to fight the beastish institution of our health care system; however, I am battle-weary and worn down tonight.

We have, once again, begun the appeals process, which takes up to 30 days, to have the segmental mastectomy and breast lymphoscintigraphy plus any other testing the doctor has yet to order based on the PET scan covered as in contract, in network coverage. We are making headway as we actually got to the medical director today. Finally. A person who is willing to take responsibility for my health and future well being. Please pray for this doctor.

Also the insurance carrier has said that if Dr. Hunt or a treating doctor from MDA will write a detailed letter and make a phone call using strong language that it would greatly help my case. Please pray that can happen tomorrow. Please pray hard on this issue. Many reinforcements have been called in to make this happen.

I thank you for standing in the gap for me today. It has been a dark, dark afternoon yet in the darkness, the Light has shone.

I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
Isaiah 45:3

or as The Message puts it
I'll lead you to buried treasures, secret caches of valuables—
Confirmations that it is, in fact, I, God, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.

Awaiting Confirmation,

Lisa, my heart aches for you and your family. But you are encouraging in all your writing. You are so based in God, I know you will make it.

I am in awe of your strength. I find it appalling that the insurance company can and does do such horrible things to people that are going through the worst time of their life. :shaking head in disbelief:
Much love to you, and many, many prayers continuing to be lifted to THE Great Physician.

Just wanted to tell you that Kacie had the same problem... we tried to get her in a study at MD Anderson, but they don't accept Medicaid, which she's on. I have to tell you that through this whole process, dealing with insurance was the most frustrating and disheartening part. For the life of me, I don't understand how the best cancer center in the nation makes it so difficult to get treatment there.

I'm praying that you will find a way to get the care you need and DESERVE. I pray that God opens doors that seem locked and tears down walls that seem insurmountable. You are strong and beautiful and you will win this battle.

Hi! Lisa, Wayon Ward gave me your name I had breast cancer almost 3 yrs ago,the Lord gave me Tim.1:7 I hope it helps you. "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of POWER, a spirit of LOVE, and a spirit of sound mind" I prayed this every time I started to become fearful and it really gave me peace that only God can give. The Lord will get you thur this storm and his hand will guide you everyday, I know I have been there and I saw his hand move, read his word on every Healing in the bible and pray that prayer every day. Don't do anything until you have peace about it. You need to be taking Vitamin D3 everyday at least 6,000 mg it helps with breast cancer. Go buy the book "Knockout" by Suzanne Somers it has a lot of information and new ways to treat cancer it will you help you to understand some things. You are in my prayers and our church is praying for you too!! Sister's in Christ, Debbie Williams

Lisa, perhaps I shouldn't even say this but is there any way that you can have your surgery and then fight with the insurance company after for reconstruction surgery....just to rid your body of the cancer. I just want you putting your time and energy on healing. I do want for you whatever you want sweetie, I really hate seeing you so drained. Love you and only want you well. Praying for you and your family, always in my heart, thoughts and prayers......:-) Hugs

Precious Precious Lisa,

I popped in to check in on you in the wee hours of this morning here. I haven't been on the computer much in the past couple of days.

You are so loved Lisa by so many. It's amazing how God has filled my heart with so much love for you and I've never met you. Oh I am still praying fervently for you. As I layed in bed last night saying my prayers for every one my heart was so full, so consumed with so many to pray for but God knows each and every need and He meets them...every single one of them in His will, timing and in His form and fashion.

Heavenly Father,

I lift up my sister Lisa to you at this hour...hand-in-hand like a strong chain all of us here are soaring high up into the heavens with her and we are placing her in your loving arms. We are leaving her here with you Father and we are kneeling at your feet all around you hand-in-hand...a never-ending circle of love, intercession, fervent prayers for this beautiful precious woman that you created. We are guarding her Father with our heart-filled prayers.

Oh Father, we humbly raise our heads and sing our love songs out to you...all voices singing in unity as one strong voice ringing all throughout the highest of heavens...yes, we sing praises, honor and glory to your almighty name. Oh how we love you, worship you, glorify you, adore you.

Father, our hearts beat in unity with fervent loving prayers to you for Lisa's healing. Your Will shall be done and we all stand firm in that and thank you in advance for that and what you have done and what you are doing now.

Father, we again raise our voices in love, worship, song and prayer for your Divine Intervention in Lisa's health issue right now. We ask that your mighty hand touch the minds, hearts and souls of every doctor, nurse, the insurance carrier (Scott & White Health Plan), all specific doctors and personnel at MD Anderson and anyone having anything at all to do with Lisa's specific health battle that is going on...We pray that your Divine Intervention with all of these people will miraculously immediately move things along, that a doctor that you have handpicked yourself whether that be Dr. Hunt or another doctor at MD Anderson will take charge immediately and write a detailed letter and make a phone call as well to the proper people to expedite this whole process that she has had to painfully endure.

Father, we ask with every part of who we are, of who you made us to be that you make what's been impossible thus far to get completely done, authorized and covered 100% by her insurance possible through you...Yes Lord, we believe, we hope, we trust, we never doubt who you are, what you can do...Oh how we love you so.

Father, we ask that as Lisa remains resting in your lap high up in the heavens that you let her strongly feel your love, grace, presence, comfort, peace, joy and so very much more this night and the many days and nights to follow.

Father, above all...We ask for a MIRACLE...A MIRACLE OF COMPLETE HEALING within her body. Remove any signs of cancer anywhere within her body...We rebuke any signs of cancer within her body and pray that you are miraculously making her whole once again in Jesus precious name I pray. Amen!

I love you so much dear one...oh how I really do and I will continue to pray pray pray fervently for you, your family and look forward to hearing more amazing testimonies coming from you all for His praise, honor and glory.

Big hugs my friend,
Alleluiabelle
